1. The University is publicly recruiting a Dean for the College of Medicine. The appointment begins on February 1, 2026, with a three-year term.

2. Candidates for the position must meet the following qualifications:

(1) Hold a certificate of appointment at the rank of Professor or above.
(2) Possess academic achievements, exemplary character, extensive knowledge, dedication to service, fairness in conduct, and the capacity to lead medical education, academic development, and healthcare services.
(3) Have administrative experience in medical education and research.
(4) Hold citizenship of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Candidates with other nationalities must meet relevant legal requirements.

3. Appointees who are external scholars or require secondment must comply with the University’s regulations on full-time faculty hiring or related procedures. Please refer to:

4. Required application documents:

(1) For current University faculty: submit the “College of Medicine Dean Candidate Information Form,” curriculum vitae, and supporting documents.
(2) For non‑University faculty or applicants outside the College: must hold qualifications of Professor and be recommended via (a) joint nomination by at least two MMU College of Medicine faculty members, (b) nomination by a selection committee member, or (c) self‑nomination. In addition to item (1), submit the “College of Medicine Dean Candidate Joint Recommendation Form.”

5. Submission deadline: before October 16, 2025 (Thursday). Documents may be delivered in person or sent by registered mail. Late submissions will not be processed. All submitted documents will not be returned.
